Ultimately, what separates a winner from a loser at the grandmaster level is the willingness to do the unthinkable. A brilliant strategy is, certainly, a matter of intelligence, but intelligence without audaciousness is not enough. Given the opportunity, I must have the guts to explode the game, to upend my opponent's thinking and, in so doing, unnerve him.

Flanders' Minister-President Kris Peeters will be participating at the Your Next Move 2009 event.
Preselections of the 3th edition on Saturday October 10th and Sunday October 11th.
Preselections of the 3th edition of the chess tournament Your Next Move will be taking place at Option (Gaston Geenslaan 14, 3001 Leuven) on Saturday October 10th and Sunday October 11th. During the preselections 90 young chess players will play simultaneously against chess legend Nigel Short. Mr. Short will in this way select 6 kids who will play against Garry Kasparov later on.
